City image transmission is one of the topics of research in recent years were concentrated and highly social attention from all walks of life, the study of this subject has multiple views and different angles, but all around the city image building and enhancing communication effect the two central issues, on the choice of propagation path is way different, but are given priority to with professional functions of media and communication department. This paper, based on the theory of interpersonal communication perspective to explore as interpersonal communication group, one of the Cab drivers affect the spread of the city’s image.Outside the city of audience about city image mainly comes from two aspects: one is based on the original impression of the city before, another is in the process of city stay for immediate perception of the city. The big scope, the frequency of communication with the public people more easily form physical meaning people \ "communication space\", their image, language training and other norms of behavior such as help optimization of urban social image. Cab drivers in the city image communication is such a role, their words and deeds, the high quality service is the best transmission for the city. This paper choose the Cab driver as the research object, through the method of literature analysis, questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews to analyze its features in city image communication.Cab driver has multiple identities in the process of city image communication, this article will from the as communicators, communication content, communication media analyzes three kinds of role, first as a member of the city, its perception of city identity, let him have the most intuitive city image as a communicator; Secondly as image rendering of individual behavior itself, is a part of city image content; As with other foreigner contact frequency higher professional group, he is medium for the spread of the city’s image. Clear the Cab driver in the function orientation of city image communication, is to analyze the propagation force level’s priorities.Through the study found that Cab drivers in the process of city image communication, as the disseminator role is not clear, as the city image communication content of individual behavior anomie present existence, as a media usage and status recognition degree is not high, this is to limit its propagation force level of three main factors. By Cab drivers in these three aspects the analysis of existing problems, try to put forward to build the Cab driver the propagation force of city image strategy Suggestions, in hopes to the attention of the government and the social attention, let the Cab driver give full play to the city image communication subject, carrier and object.
