Design And Development Of Traceability System For Grapes In Xinjiang

As the largest vinery region in China, grape industry is very important for its national economy in Xinjiang. Recently the frequent occurrence of the agricultural products safety accident, agricultural products safety has attracted attention widely. It takes a severe challenge for Xinjiang’s grape industry as well as the other agricultural products. As an effective method to ensure the safety of agricultural products, to research and establish quality traceability system for grape products is inevitable. This study developed the quality traceability system for grape products based on SSH three-tier system and database mining techniques and J2 EE platform, combining with the actual production of Xinjiang grape industry. It can provide accurate and fuzzy tracing methods for users. It can tell the users who is the owner and how the products being produced, tracing back to the responsibility of the obvious owner and where did the products go, sharing the regulatory information. The results are as follows.Firstly, the information database model of the grape products has been built based on My SQL database, which converts the factors and important entity objects that might affect product quality in the whole industry chain into database tables and the relational between them. It can provide data security for the system functions, for example the product tracing and information service.Secondly, the traceability model of this system has been built which can realize accurate and fuzzy tracing. The accurate tracing means the users can quickly get the product information through the unique traceability code. The fuzzy tracing means the users can trace the products by other information, such as product name, purchase date, production producer,etc. So no longer depend on source code.Finally, the quality traceability system of Xinjiang grapes has been designed and developed. The system comprises the web service and web management system. The former provides services for the majority of users, such as product information tracing, news and BBS and so on. The latter makes the service content sites and management component separation, to control the page information display, to update and maintain the system contents, to manage the user’s information and to provide various decision information for managers.
