The drug supply chain traceability and regulation system is essentially important for public drug security and business operations.It utilizes information technology methods to trace the circulation of drugs between different stakeholders in the supply chain network,and to conduct relevant access control and compliance operations for stakeholders,in the aim that the source of the drug can be checked,the physical drug flow can be traced,and the responsibility can be binded.The traditional drug supply chain traceability system is difficult to effectively guarantee the authenticity and privacy of drug flow data and has weak system security and flexibility due to the centralized server-client architecture.In recent years,the blockchain technology with its killer app of cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin and Ethereum has been widely researched by academics and industry for its peer-to-peer advantage in building multiparty trusted services.This paper takes the drug supply chain traceability and supervision as the practical application scenario.From the perspective of constructing the blockchain system for this application scenario,it focuses on combing and researching some key technical issues,and finally designs and develops Drugledger.Drugledger uses a hybrid data model that combines the UTXO model with an account-based model to efficiently implement workflow logic and traceability logic for drug supply chain traceability and supervision.Drugledger splits the system into four independent system modules by means of service separation,namely certificate service module,query service module,anti-attack service module and blockchain service module,which re-establishes the technical architecture for drug traceability and supervision and better guarantees the privacy and reliability of the drug flow data.In terms of network access control,unlike the public key infrastructure of traditional peripherals,Drugledger first improved the architecture of the underlying service module of the blockchain,by separating the control logic from the scenario logic,and formed a double-chain architecture.The access control mechanism based on its own blockchain system is implemented and the corresponding implementation algorithm is given.In addition,for the drug supply chain scenario,Drugledger optimizes the blockchain system based on the above architecture to achieve an approximately final stable storage of the federated chain system.We implemented Drugledger and evaluated it in an AWS EC2 cloud environment.The test results show that in the actual production environment,the Drugledger system correctly implements the control logic and scene logic defined by the nine basic transaction types.The minimum average delay of the system is about 4 seconds,and it can support about 750 transactions per second throughput.
