With the rapid development of urban modernization, garden industry continues growth for recent years, and the modernizing urban and rural landscape construction gain the popularity among ordinary people and local governments. Landscape plant plays an important role in many aspects, such as improving the city’s ecological environment, shaping its city cultural background, and maintaining plant species diversity and aesthetic enjoyment. Therefore, it is of great importance to make scientific and rational choice for plants. However, not every landscape engineer has thorough understanding and correct grasp of plants, so the main aim of this study is to establish an interactive decisive supporting system for rural and urban greening, which is convenient, quick and has realistic meaning to help landscape engineers and plant lovers to obtain information of landscape plants and plant selection assistant decision.This system takes the landscape plants of Shanxi Province as the research object. Based on reading lots of literature review, books, materials, experts consultation and comprehensive analysis, the author uses the network editing languages, such as ASP, JAVA, and Html, applies Access 2010 as backstage database and combines computer intelligent decisive system technology to establish mathematical model and algorithm on the basis of ecosystem service function. The purpose of the research is to provide urban and rural greening plant information query, garden plant selection assistant decision, online technical support and other functions for users. This research mainly obtains the following results,1. The author developed the interactive decisive supporting system for rural and urban greening in Shanxi Province, established the database of urban and rural landscape plant in Shanxi Province, collected detailed plants information of landscape plants in Shanxi Province, consisting of 363 species (including varieties, forms and cultivars),168 genera, and 132 families, and classified, summarized, and concluded attribute information about plants as the basic data source of decisive supporting module in this system, achieving the functions of browse, query, addition, modification, deletion, and providing a platform of information communication and sharing for plant garden workers and plant enthusiasts;2. The system includes garden greening tree species application information and plant growth situation of 11 prefecture-level cities in Shanxi Province. According to classification standard of the urban green space, application principle in different green space types of trees and growth situation of the existing urban plant, the system can provide recommended service on the basis of the city and green space types of tree species selection and application for users;3. Constructed aided decisive model for choosing plants based on ecosystem service function, the system can comprehensively evaluate and assess ecological adaptability of plants. According to the specific needs on planting areas, site condition and ecological service function, it also can provide selective, decisive and auxiliary function of greening tree species for users;4. The system provides other additional functions, including relevant technical data of landscaping, online consulting service, database backup, and administrator management;5. After testing, this system runs well and meets the demands in security, reliability and practicability.
