The Frame Analysis On The Coverage Of The Medical System Reform

In this paper, the writer uses the theoretical analysis framework theory to analyze the coverage on "China Youth Daily" about the Chinese medical system reform. Through analyzing the thematic frames, framework associations, the selections of news sources, tones and text rhetoric etc, it provides the mass medias with preliminary information about how the mass medias report public policy issues, brings the positive role of the news media into full play, and then makes the news media become a strong power to develop the harmonious society.Following the study, the writer finds out that there is sources bias in the news reports about the medical reform on "China Youth Daily" . The news thematic frame is discovering existent problems in medical system. From the standpoint of safeguarding, different news sources have different frame associations. The tones are mainly neutral. The advocacy skills embodied in the news texts are too few but simple.
