Medical and health service is an important part of our national economy and social development. In recent years, the reports on health care have increasingly become the focus of the community and news media. And medical malpractice report that is closely related to medical disputes is especially a sensitive issue. At present, the domestic research of medical malpractice and medical disputes is concentrated in such issues, including the media features, the cultural criticism of the report and the wide relations between hospitals and media. Research is relatively fragmented and lack of systematic. From the media view of the current status, the reports that used "medical malpractice" and "medical malpractice" as sensitive words aren’t few. The image construction of the parties’hospital and medical personnel in the report is not only positive, but also negative. There is a certain asymmetry between academic studies and status reports, and some blank in the research areas. So the paper focused on the media presentation of medical malpractice disputes news and the analysis of issue type, outlined the landscape of news media in medical malpractice disputes news, examined the media image Construction’s characteristics of the doctors, explored the changes of the inherent discourse.The paper used medical malpractice disputes report as the starting point. Through the media status of medical malpractice disputes news, Analysis of the status of medical malpractice disputes, the issues and future for the media image construction of the doctors, and discussed other issues such as media coverage and discourse change is the end result of the paper. Firstly, the paper analyzed the current academic status, explained the meaning and purposed of this study under the vision of journalism and communication. In the third chapter, the paper made a detailed empirical analysis of the three medical malpractice disputes reports that have a significant impact in the community in China since2008to2011through the content analysis and semantic analysis. They are the neonatal nosocomial infection incidents report of first affiliated hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University in August2008, the "Xu-baby" incident report of Nanjing in2009and the "sewing anal" incident reports of Shenzhen Phoenix Hospital in 2010-2011. Through analyzing the various data in the six targeted newspaper media, the paper investigated the features and problems of the medical malpractice disputes.On the basis of the third chapter, the fourth chapter in-depth analyzed the media image construction of the reporting doctor, explored the role property. First, the doctor image that is shaped in the medical malpractice disputes reports of China’s media is almost negative. Secondly, in the cycle report of medical malpractice disputes, the media image of doctors shows the characteristics that are a poor doctor image in development stage of incident, doctors’lack of the right to discourse in incident investigation stage, endorsement the findings by the government departments. That is, doctors from the "strong" in the traditional sense into "vulnerable groups" in media discourse, because of the aphasia, negative responses and Failing to grasp the right to discourse.Finally, the papers returned to value examine on the media image construction of the doctors and reported strategy on medical malpractice disputes. Media plays an important role in the relationship between the three circles, as a platform that is releasing and exchanging information between hospital and patient. Mass media not only reports the facts news truthfully, but also pays attention to the relationship between news coverage and social stability. Through this study, the paper provided spread enlightenment for the media discourse supervision, a scientific basis for guiding the hospital to deal with medical malpractice disputes, and a better guiding significance on future media report of medical malpractice disputes.
