With the development of society, the high-speed data acquisition system has been widely applied to the aerospace electronic equipment, multimedia, radar signal processing, digital broadband communications and some other fields.The improvement of manufacturing process lead to the appearance of high-speed acquisition chip whose acquisition speed is as high as G Hz. The corresponding ultra-high speed data processing and mass data transmission has become the hot research topic. At the same time, some of the key technical indicators in the data acquisition system, such as precision, resolution and acquisition rate request become more and more high.This paper first introduces the current development situation about the high-speed data acquisition and processing technology at the home and abroad, and then builds a high-speed acquisition system which sampling rate is up to G Hz. High-speed signal transmission in the cable can occur rising edge of slowing down, overshoot, ringing and some other signal distortion problems,and the system in the paper samples, processes and analysis high-speed signal in the cable.In this situation, this paper has put forward the high-speed data acquisition system design scheme based on FPGA and high-speed AD converter, and analyzed the high-speed signal integrity, the reasonable design line,the device layout in the PCB lay, software filtering in the high noise environment and error control.When the high-speed signal is transmitted in the cable, the signal reflected will cause interference from the original signal, resulting in wrong data, if it encounters a cable short circuit, open circuit and impedance changes in a node. The non-linear error caused by the front-end acquisition circuit and the influence of environmental noise, these factors lead to collected data that has a certain deviation compared with real data, so this paper establishes a piecewise fitting model based on least squares algorithm. Through the model to nonlinear processing of acquisition of data, it can be found the data with higher accuracy after simulation and validation,and the error rate is under 0.1 percent.Finally, making full use of the above findings, a common platform for high-speed signal processing verification and analysis is established, which is based on DSP and FPGA tomake software and hardware implementations, that can sampling, analysis and processing high-speed signal transported in long cable.The FPGA is responsible for the interface of hardware circuit and data collection. DSP is responsible for control, display, data processing, error correcting. Besides of the realization of the cable fault point measurement, the instrument also implements the function of multimeter and micro resistance test, so the users have more choice to measure the cable fault.
