"The Chinese Dream" is the popular expression of the new central government’s governing philosophy. On 29th November,2012, Xi Jinping, the general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, first talked about "Chinese Dream", during a visit to the exhibition "The Road toward Renewal". Then he interpreted its connotation, significance and approaches to realize the goal in different occasions. At reported by all levels media, The" Chinese Dream" was spread widely and became the mainstream political discourse in 2013."Guangming Daily" is one of the large official news media which is directly led by the propaganda department of the central committee of the communist party of China. At the same time, "Guangming Daily" also is a culture broadsheet which is loved by the intellectuals. It compared to pay attention to culture and theory. According to the data, the coverage of the "Chinese Dream" in "Guangming Daily" has surpassed the other similar media across the country. So "Guangming Daily" reported the "Chinese Dream" has certain representativeness. So, what characteristic does the reports present? The author analysed the reports systermatic through the method of statistics. Including the introduction, this article consists of five chapters.Introduction. It discusses the theoretical and practical significance of this study, as well as the research status of "Chinese Dream" reports. Then the research methods and innovations are presented.Chapter Ⅰ analyses the characteristics of "Chinese Dream" reports of "Guangming Daily" through five aspects including number, report form, report subject, news sources, layout.Chapter Ⅱ analyses the effect of communication about "Chinese Dream" reports of "Guangming Daily". The research show that three factors promote the effect of communication which includes the brand influence of "Guangming Daily"、the report skills combination "to reason" and "to emotional"、the intellectuals’ opinion leader role. In addition, this article also summarizes some of the factors restricting the communication effect.Chapter Ⅲ summarizes the revelation of "Chinese Dream" reports of "Guangming Daily" and puts forward some improvement suggestions. "GuangmingDaily" reflects some highlights in this political communication activities, but there are some place to improve:1. The interpretation of the "dream":rich expression force; 2.To talk "dream": more interactive; 3. To pursue the "dream":pay attention to the continuity; 4. Achieve the "dream":reflect practicality。Conclusion summarizes the research conclusion of this article and puts forward the studies’ linitations.
