Radar countermeasure digital simulation system being a relatively complicated system, we need make a schematic design firstly for its modeling and simulation. According to the mission functions, the total simulation system is divided into radar simulation subsystem, self-defense subsystem and efficiency evaluation simulation subsystem.Combining with the thought of high level architecture(HLA), this paper establishes three subsystems on the operation supported framework platform, adapting the distributed simulation mode. Firstly, self-defense interference subsystem is used to produce various kinds of interference. Based on guide, repeater and digital synthesis system structures, the oppressive interference mode and the deceive interference mode are built respectively, and the corresponding simulation rendering is given. Secondly, radar simulation subsystems mainly complete the anti-interference process. The electromagnetic wave, transmitted by the radar, produces the echo signal including target information, noise and clutter, which, received by the receiver combined with interference signal produced by the self-defense interference, will pass through the complicated signal processing module. It not only raises the SNR but also fights the interference and clutter. This system mainly adapts adaptive side-lobe cancellation, side-lobe blanking, frontier tracking and other measurements to decrease the amplitude of the interference, and then using the pulse compression, coherent integration and CFAR to raise the SNR and SIR.The ground clutter being relatively stronger for airborne radar, not only that according anti-interference measurements are taken, but also proper methods are applied to reducing the effects of clutter on target detection. Target tracks are obtained from the received detection information after data processing, which is simultaneously sent to the display console. Finally, founded on the basis of self-defence jamming and radar subsystems, the efficiency evaluation subsystem is an important performance index to measure airborne radar. Based on the primary standards for efficiency evaluation, evaluation methods for oppressive interference and deceive interference are introduced respectively, and then combined with the analytical hierarchy process(AHP), a performance indicator system is proposed with clear architecture and structure. Based on the indicators, a radar’s combat efficacy can be evaluated qualitatively or quantitatively.Radar countermeasure digital simulation system established in this paper is mainly applied to schema optimization and technological improvements of electronic jamming system to improve its jamming ability according to different objects, which can be used as an universal platform for confrontation simulation researches and experiments, such as the demonstration for radar counter equipment, researches on novel jamming or anti-jamming technology, and the evaluation of jamming or anti-jamming.
