Since the first reality show landed in China, it has gone through more than ten years. Among this period, all kinds of reality show continue to attract public attention. Although by varying degrees, those shows always could be the hot spots of society.In this paper, what will be discussed is how those programs appeal to the public. After reading the whole texts, you can conclude that the narrative strategies are playing an important role in such programs.The core issue of this study is attempting to outline the narrative strategies of those reality shows through both of the diachronic and synchronic perspectives, based on narrative theory which provided a new horizon to see those programs as narrative texts. Then this paper will put it in relation to a broad background of this history from 2003 to 2013 in China to find out the relationship between the changes of narrative strategies and the transition of Structure of feelings in China.This paper is divided into four sections:Chapter 1 is about the history of the reality show in China between 2003-2013.The second chapter will explore the researches about the narratology.Chapter Ⅲ will show the core issue of this study which is the narrative strategies of diffirent kinds of reality showes.The last chapter will tell the relationship between the changes of narrative strategies and the transition of Structure of feelings in past ten years of China.
