The Narrative Analysis Of China's Reality TV Show

Up to now,the reality TV show in our country has become the battleground of major TV stations.As the competition becomes more and more fierce,the story narration becomes the main weapon and the main trend of the war.How to innovate the program mode,use different ways to tell the story,tell a different story,that is how to "narrative" become the key to the success of reality TV programs.In this case,it is very important to analyze the reality TV programs and reach the rules behind them.Narratology,as a classical theory is undoubtedly the best choice for this research.Therefore,this article uses the interdisciplinary perspective to incorporate the reality TV program into the research category of narratology.Combining with the literature research and the case analysis,this article systematically and detailed the narration of the reality TV show in China.Then,discover the mystery of the reality TV show in china.In order to improve the framework,this article mainly draws lessons from the division of narrative "story" and "discourse" in Chatterman's classic "story and discourse".After a basic overview of the reality show and narratology,this paper analyzes the two aspects of the reality TV program "story" and "discourse"."Story",mainly from the characters,the plot and the theme of three angles to be analyzed.On the one hand,from the perspective of functional configuration,the paper discusses the "action element" in reality TV shows;On the other hand,to explore the characters of reality TV programs,summed up the "flat" and "round" two different people shaping methods.Plot angle,from the two aspects of plot construction and plot characteristics,it is found that the core and auxiliary events are the main ways to construct the plot of reality TV programs.And suspense,conflict,inversion and other essential elements in literary creation,in the reality show equally important.The theme of the angle,how to conception and how to show the theme is the main research point,and then come to the relevant laws and common practices.The "Discourse" aspect of the story is mainly analyzed from three aspects: narrative time,narrative perspective and television language.In the aspect of time,focusing on its narrative techniques and their means of realization,that is,montage techniques.From the angle of view,this paper analyzes the level of narrative perspective in reality TV programs,and illustrates the characteristics and functions of different visual angle techniques with thecase.Language is mainly analyzed from the aspects of sound,subtitle and style.After analyzing the narrative of the reality TV program from the two dimensions of "story" and "Discourse",we can draw the conclusion clearly:The narrative of the reality TV program is based on the theory of Narratology.There seems to be a deep theoretical meaning behind every fragment that seems to make people laugh or move.At the same time,there are also some skills not be used,which are yet to be be further explored and discussed by the people of our country,then to creative originality of the "story" and a unique "Discourse",so that China's reality TV show more shiny,shiny.
