As one of the current mainstream media, TV undertakes important functions of information dissemination, culture communication and entertainment. And the realization of TV's functions mainly relies on it's programs to realize the communication and interaction with the audience. In recent years, as one types of television shows, Reality TV Shows on Chinese television screens began to shine.Because it can satisfies the audience's desires of spying others privacy, satisfies the audience's curiosities, etc., this form of TV program which combining the virtualities and realities, received warm welcome. However, with the continuous development of the television reality shows, innovation ability is low, homogenization phenomenon is serious, blindly chasing the commercial interests makes the programs lack of the corresponding sense of responsibility, excessive speculation makes the TV's culture dissemination function weakened and so on. Some vulgar, kitsch information even pass to the audience through the programs and causes certain influence to the right social values. So, how to balance the commercial interests and the entertainment mode, still be able to transmit positive energies, assume social responsibilities, become the the biggest problems of current domestic reality show in its development.In this article, the author tries to using the relevant principles of narratology, makes a careful text analysis of the domestic successful TV reality show “Run, brother!”, and using the methods of case analysis and text analysis, to research and analysis its narrative content, narrative structure, narrative plot and narrative strategies and narrative discourse under narrative characters, and summarized the characteristics and success factors of the current domestic reality show on the narrative, in order to provide more theoretical basis and production experience in the production of domestic television reality show, and for expending the range of narratology study.Through the study of narrative of television reality show "Run, brother! ", the author found that the current domestic television reality shows in the narrative made a huge change, and has its own unique characteristics. For example, the current domestic television reality show presentation of richer features in the narrative content, and the depiction in characters, structure, characterization action become more and more detailed. Secondly, the narrative strategy has become even more diverse, not confined to the traditional television narrative mode, but the use of more types of cinematic narrative strategy. On the use of narrative discourse, the current reality TV shows are bolder and more with time characteristics.The most important point is that the current reality TV show has become even more emphasis on the integration of national cultural property, the use of recreational coat of traditional national culture packaging, making easier to spread.
