Design And Implementation Of Vietnam Memorial Hall Virtual Exhibition System

The rapid development of virtual reality lays foundation for the rise and development of virtual exhibition, the virtual exhibition technology is a kind of can use external input devices such as mouse and keyboard implement visit browsing technology. It can make use of virtual reality technology to digitize the real exhibition, and also can imitate real memorabilia and artwork to create a virtual exhibition. Virtual exhibition design based on Unity3D technology, is the Unity3D technology combined with 3DS MAX modeling technology, can be roaming within the virtual exhibition, visiting exhibits, and interact with the exhibitors products a virtual exhibition.In this paper, the Vietnam Memorial in guangxi normal university yucai campus as the carrier of virtual exhibition design. Vietnam memorial museum is built in the 60 years of diplomatic relations between the China and Vietnam. In view of deep friendship between our university and Vietnam, An idea came out to me to create a virtual Vietnam memorial. Aims to better consolidate and promote the China-Vietnam friendship, commemorating profound friendship between Guangxi Normal University and Vietnam, also play a promotion and spread our school’s unique history and culture at the same time.Compared to other virtual exhibition, this paper implemented the virtual exhibition on roaming perspective transformation effect is closer to the user’s habits, the virtual exhibition platform is more powerful, saving resources and computer running time of the system; and faithfully reproduce the scene in the exhibition layout, exhibits on display, users have a greater sense of immersion accompanied by soft music; it also implements features interactive exhibits and more intuitive detailed description of the exhibits, the interaction effect is better. Vietnam Memorial virtual exhibition for school students, teachers and other school personnel achieve a more comprehensive and multi-angle to understand the history and culture of our school provides a new platform. To our school to show themselves, rich campus culture, improve their awareness has a positive effect.
