Virtual assembly and is one of the important application of virtual reality technology in manufacturing industry,.the emergence of virtual assembly can provide more convenient and intuitive ways to design and manufacture manufacturing practitioners designer and manufacturer,Virtual display provides a bridge between the manufacturer and the user for a product.The existing virtual assembly and display software has been accumulated for several years,and has been developed to a considerable extent.But,there are still a lot of deficiencies in the virtual assembly and exhibition software,such as poor assembly process interactivity,lack of flexibility in the assembly,and virtual learning software is difficult to demonstrate,lack of interactivity and other shortcomings.Based on these issue,content of this paper is Development and application of virtual assembly and exhibition platform based on ProE.The primary coverage are as follows:(1)Analysis of working mechanism of harvester and establishment of model library based on ProE,this paper takes the harvester as an example to study,the establishment of model base of harvester is the preparation work of platform construction.It is necessary to analyze the working mechanism and working principle of the harvester.(2)After the model is established,the modular processing of parts and the establishment of assembly library are established.Modular processing of parts refers to the storage of the model library in the form of modular components in the product mechanism.Modular parts of the design process makes it easy to call and replace parts in the design process.(3)Video library development is an important part of the platform construction,video library is the basis of the dynamic demonstration of the platform,Video library can actively guide the work of the workers,used for product exhibition,improve corporate image.(4)The establishment of the database,the design and implementation of human-computer interaction and the development of the final platform are the main research contents of this paper.Through the analysis of the existing virtual assembly and display software platform,thenew idea of virtual assembly and display software design is obtained.Improve the flexibility and intuitive design of the designer,to facilitate the assembly of the assembly of the training and learning,closer to the virtual assembly and display and the distance between the general enthusiasts.Therefore,the platform is meaningful to the development of virtual assembly and exhibition and the design and manufacture of products.
