"The course of electronic product assembly process" is a strong practical basic professional course. In order to improve the teaching quality, the curriculum development turns to be one of the active explorations for the electronic electrician major in the current secondary vocational and technical schools.In this paper, the present situation of curriculum development of the secondary vocational and technical schools had been researched systematically. And based on the idea of working processes guiding to curriculum development, it was carefully analyzed that the widespread teaching problems of electronic courses in secondary vocational and technical schools. Then, focusing on those questions, some steps and methods about the curriculum development of the secondary vocational and technical schools arose at the historic moment. Among them, an example of a course was a special part which name is "Electronic product assembly process" in the electronic application and maintenance professional courses to elaborate clearly.At first, using to the working task analysis method, the situation which is the relationship between the specialty and current social situation including the industry demand analysis, career analysis,working task analysis, special capacity analysis, post(group) analysis,career qualification research and typical working task analysis of the electronic application and maintenance specialty was bright. In the light of the typical working task determining action areas, the action areaschanged to learning areas(courses development), and this paper came up with designing the learning situation and teaching organization, and also making the examination standard, forming a relative complete system which is based on working process guiding to the courses development of vocational school. Then, pursuant to research results, the teaching material sample which is "electronic products assembly process technology" was developed, and it had applied to the actual teaching work along with summary and modifying. Thus, the curriculum became more professionalism gradually, the learning skills docked to the job requirements, and the purposes had achieved which are enhancing students’ professional abilities and promoting student employment.And in this article, the research on the curriculum development and design of working process would provide a useful reference to electronic application and maintenance professional curriculum reform and development of other secondary vocational technical schools and senior vestibule schools.
