With the development of media technology, traditional media face tremendous pressures and challenges, more scholars’ paper media Extinction. In the recession of the market environment, many foreign media have to choose to cease. However, "inside and outside the classroom" has done upstream, creating a new situation in the journal Development. Therefore, this paper, "both inside and outside the classroom," as a case study, attempts to summarize the successful experience of its brand building, brand building for other journals and communication reference. At the same time, the "outside the classroom" and other well-known youth journals contrast, to find new space for development and profit growth, in order to build a strong brand to explore new roads journals.Media Strategic Management has three core areas:strategic analysis, strategy formulation, strategy implementation, through the media strategic management framework analysis journal brand strategy. Firstly, the magazine concept, development history, as well as youth journals media environment. These include, the audience environment, policies and systems environment, industry environment, advertising resources and environment. After analysis, I began to study "outside the classroom" how to develop brand strategy? First established media vision, and closely linked to adolescent mental form a unique editorial style. Including, visual communication and fashion; column design boutique based; trendy topics of planning; advertising aesthetic. Then study the propagation and extension path "outside the classroom" periodicals. Brand communication path is:a clear target audience branding journals; leveraging public welfare enhance brand recognition; co-development model boosting brand awareness; conduct quality activities to build brand reputation. Brand extension path:the original book publishing; supporting education services; digital publishing. Finally, the "boys and girls" contrast "outside the classroom" and the "most novel" draw "outside the classroom" brand strategy in the journal New idea: to enhance brand awareness, joint marketing brand; to create a group of well-known author, expand cultural industrial chain.Based on this study, the author of the journal brand strategy, made a further thought. The author believes that the journal you want to build a strong brand, it should handle the triple relations:relations business value and social value; cultural connotation and brand extension of the relationship; stick to the relationship between the characteristics of innovation. Journals brand building and communication, is a long-term, systematic, professional engineering, periodical publishing team needs continuous efforts and continued exploration. This is the only way to build a strong brand.
