Research On Network Public Opinion In Environmental Mass Incidents

In the period of social transition,the mass incidents caused by environment problem have occurred frequently.The environmental risk awareness of the public has raised,however,the public of their legal rights was blocked.The development of social media has brought the revolution of traditional pattern of information dissemination,and the ecological pattern of network public opinion has changed.Environment problems,network public opinion,and opinion leaders constitutes the significant factors of public opinion in the environmental mass incidents.The public initiated discussion on environmental issue over the network,and then,contribution of opinion leaders and platform provided by network media which formed the powerful network public opinion online and the organized group mobilization offline.As a result,creating a guidance mechanism which conforms to the rheological law of internet public opinion in the environmental mass incidents becomes the current significant subject.This paper to analyze the problem and taking the PX Project Event in Maoming GuangDong as an example,and to learn experience and lessons to prevent the environmental mass incidents.
