The rapid development of the Internet has brought a huge amount of networkservices.To the Internet access services or resources needed to find the IP address,but theIP address is not easy to be remembered.So the Domain Name System has beenexist.Internet users only need to remember domain name, an IP address can be obtainedthrough the DNS service.With the development of Internet technology, the traditionaldomain and one to one single IP address restrictions, has become increasingly unsuited tothe current Internet services and flexible, rapid changes in demand.DDNS (DynamicDomain Name System) to effectively address the needs of dynamically changing domainnames and IP addresses, to provide a flexible, timely and accurate DNS service.Thispaper studied DDNS client switch-based hardware platform, operating system softwareComware network environment, design and implement a dynamic DNS client.Dynamic Domain Name System is a client/server architecture.DDNS client as achange initiated by the end, the need for timely response to changing events IP networkequipment, and to initiate the update request on the server side.DDNS server isresponsible for notifying the DNS server to dynamically update the mapping betweendomain names and IP addresses, the DNS server can provide correct DNS query results.As a DDNS client, the system needs to handle interface events on the switch. InComware, the interface management module using a unified data structure storageinterface information, the uniform application of the external interface index identifiesthe various interfaces and provides the interface to a variety of functions, includingcommon data structures, interfaces.DDNS client system to meet the functional requirements DDNS client, correct andtimely response interface in response to an event of network equipment, send the correctDDNS update requests.
