University Library is principal information service organization of highereducation. Under the background of big data, users have greater demands and higherstandards towards mobile information services. University Library is an importantinformation advisory organization and plays an important role in the rapiddevelopment of mobile information services. As the time of big data and mobileinformation services are widely used in university libraries, how to optimize thetraditional mobile information services to meet users’ growing demands for mobileinformation service has become a hot spot. Therefore, from the perspective of big data,this paper conducts research on mobile information services of Chinese universitylibrary.The study object of this paper is mobile information service of university library.Firstly, this paper introduces relevant theoretical basis, including the concept ofmobile information services and big data. Secondly, this paper conducts onlineresearch and analysis on the current situation of Chinese universities libraries, designsa questionnaire about library mobile information services based on its findings andgets the final conclusion based on questionnaire results, putting forward optimizationstrategies for mobile information services of Chinese university libraries.Mobile information services are the future direction of library services. From bigdata perspective, this paper puts forward specific optimization strategies for themobile information services of Chinese university library, promoting personalized andintelligent mobile information services development. This paper has some pulsivesignificance to the development of mobile information services in Chinese universityLibrary.
