| The purpose of this study is to explore the Taiwan newspaper of mainlandtourist’s image,the United Daily News as the scope of the study,from the Taiwannewspapers mainland tourists image and its forming factors were analyzed,thus thedeconstruction that mainland tourists image,and find out the improvement way of thereport.Research methods, the main use of content analysis and discourse analysis, mediareproduction theory. On content analysis, select the April28,2012opening of thesecond batch of Taiwan’s free exercise of the start time, April28,2014as the deadlinefor a total of two years in the statistical analysis of the United Daily News news aboutthe mainland tourists reported that the use of packet sampling and sampling randomsampling method,546reports were taken as samples were analyzed and interpreted. Atthe same time, the use of critical discourse analysis and theory of media playback,make up for lack of content analysis of data in a simple conclusion, and in thetheoretical framework of critical discourse analysis, select the social cognitive modelof discourse analysis and news van Dijk from news structure, news production process,the process of understanding the three news-oriented start, combined with the mediareproduction theory, analyze why Taiwanese newspaper construct such a mainlandtourists image and explore the profound significance of which are hidden.The results show that mainland tourists rarely front-page news story, news mostconcentrated in B version; reported accident, Economics and illegal class theme moremainland tourists to the inherent characteristics of populations less attention; neutralstance occupy most of country reports. Through statistical analysis, Taiwan newspapersshaping the image of mainland tourists monotonous, empty, flat, most of the timeshowing the image of low literacy, the number of cities with the free exercise more, thenewspaper for the characterization of mainland tourists has also been someimprovements. |
