The Industrial Internet Revolution has been proposed after the Industrial Revolution and the Internet Revolution. An opening and global network will connect people, data, and the machine, which goal is to enhance the critical industrial areas. This article designs and implements an Internet-of-Things oriented manufacturing execution system with the example of TFT-LCD manufacturing process.This system contains MES modules such as core transaction, automation module, operation UI, external system communication, message transfer interface and basic rule management etc. The article introduces procedures in terms of software engineering, including requirement analysis, general design, data base design, function design and implementation as well as integration test and analysis etc.Practical operation indicates that, the MES satisfies the requirements of factory with automation production, provides a unified interface for automation machines, details various kinds of production information, and provides a substantial data basis for product reports.
