With the continuous development of technology of industrial informatization, theconcept of manufacturing execution system matures gradually. It applies to filling in thegap between management plan layer of the traditional enterprise and the workshopcontrol system on the underlying scene. The function of the MES is used widely andpractically, manufacturing execution system association has eleven functions whichintegrate the MES model.After researching the concept and function of MES sufficiently in this paper, theauthor deduced and tidied up the technology condition, then finally proposed thecombination of the Internet of things technology and the wireless location technology tobuild MES, which can fix position through the Internet of things technology, to realizethe collecting production data of MES and the tracking working behavior of devices,staff and materials. Owing to the accurate and practical data information of productionscene, MES is a big milestone. With a basic series of analysis and consideration, theauthor used embedded devices to be terminal data acquisition. The Internet of things onworkshop needed ZigBee wireless network as well as a reliable wired network. A localbus technology, CAN bus technology, which was suitable for workshop scene wasadopted according to the experience of the program, this technology was used to buildthe part of wired network of Internet of things on workshop. CAN network and ZigBeenetwork integrate the model of Internet of things on workshop.Obviously, ZigBee network was not the latest research area any more, but applyingit to the workshop scene was rarely seen. A dedicated position solution of ZigBee,CC2431was used as the hardware support. Meanwhile, software of Matlab was adoptedto simulate the interference of the workshop scene. Besides, the testing of positionperformance of the CC2431confirmed the reliability of CC2431and the feasibility ofthe project.Finally, a practice program, MES design oriented to cable enterprise, was presentedin detail. The structure of the system, the design of automatic data collector, ZigBeeelectronic tag and the establishing method for CAN communicational network.etc. The function and the effect realized in the project could verify the feasibility of the theory inthis paper.
