This thesis's subject is the design and implementation of TLR company's product manufacturing engineering management system. This system's development solves the enterprise's small-size-and-multiple-types manufacturing operation management requirements and centralizes around the enterprise's internal production planning and material flow scheduling with the support to manager's quantitative operational and transactional managements.The following works are accomplished with the objectives as the above by means of software engineering theory and techniques. At first the application software functional requirements are analyzed and setup with the use-case models where the critical functions cover the basic information management functions, production planning functions and internal material flow scheduling functions. This application product manufacturing system is designed in the global architecture of client/server pattern where its client end programs are organized around the units of window objects for interactions and view displays while its back end programs are organized around the workflow management component on which the production planning module, internal material scheduling module and manufacturing module are configured. The workflow component provides support to the high level functional modules. The system design scheme and programming model are presented with the aid of object oriented methodology and techniques to establish the module's algorithm flows, internal object data structures and the system database designs in detail.TLR company's product manufacturing engineering management system is developed with C# language and.NET runtime on Windows operating system and Oracle as its back end database system. This system's development reaches the following consequences. Firstly the enterprise's productivity and integrity is significantly raised, secondly the enterprise manufacturing resource's efficiency is effectively improved while the operational cost is essentially reduced. Thirdly a solid step is performed via this system towards the higher level precise management which is advantageous to raise the enterprise's long term capabilities.
