Design And Implementation For Integrated Hospital Staff Appraisal System

Appraisal system refers to the assessment and evaluation conducted by the hospital management departments concerning employees’work behavior, work attitude, effects and quality of work according to their specific job description. To further enhance the staffs overall awareness, sense of ownership, responsibility, service awareness and a sense of crisis and to fully stimulate staff working enthusiasm and promote the comprehensive development of various departments and the hospital in general, according to the hospital’s specific situation, the principle of "focused and clear" is applied.. Appraisal management software is an important and complex task in the project development process. It can better reflect that the hospital has entered the era of information management. Currently, though all medical institutions have a seemly standard appraisal management system, the biggest flaw of these systems is their poor operability. Most of them are still paper-based and can’t keep up with the pace of information technology development. So e-assessment is imperative.This paper studies integrated hospital appraisal system design and implementation. Based on the C/S structure of the application development, the paper analyzes hospital’s existing appraisal system as well as their problems. Hospital appraisal system is also designed according to their needs. The system includes three functional modules, namely publishing and querying module, operation module and maintenance module. With the implementation of this system, both the accuracy and transparency of the assessment in hospital will experience great enhancement. The efficiency of hospital staff as well as the overall hospital management will also be improved.
