Abstract/Summary:
The good coverage of high speed railway and highway is a key way to realize the continuousWCDMA coverage among cities. If WCDMA operator can offer continuous coverage and highQoS3G services, it will be very positive to the development of WCDMAnetwork, and the brandof China Unicom. Xiangyang is located in the northwest of Hubei Province, and the middle partof Yangze river, and is the central city of the area which is the intersection of four provinces.Also Xiangyang is the important cultural, educational, and economic center of Hubei province.The optimization of Xiangyang transportation trunk is improtant for WCDMAnetwork.The optimization of Xiangyang Unicom transportation trunck is done, according to thenetwork resources and optimization principles and the flow charts for transportation trunkoptimization. After the optimization, the user sense is improved. The current status of XiangyangUnicom WCDMA network is surveyed in depth. Then the optimization method and process fortransportation trunk is investigated. The optimization scheme for highway and high speedrailway in Xiangyang area is proposed and deployed, according to transportation trunkoptimization theory and method. The tests show that the network performances are improvedafter the optimization.
