WCDMA is the mainstream technology of the third generation mobile communication system. It can offer data transfer speeds of up to 2M bit/s, provide rich and colorful multimedia services such as voice, data, video, etc., WCDMA can also roam smoothly all over the world.Handover technology is the key technology in WCDMA, and it is absolutely necessarily in guaranteeing the subscribers moving freely in mobile communication system. Handover technology has directly influence on the quality of services supplied by WCDMA. Optimize the network planning, take full advantage of network resources and their rational distribution, so as to enhance capacity utilization and network operating quality is a realistic and challenging problem.Firstly, the article describes the key technology of WCDMA, analysis the network development trends and the evolution of the network program to the next generation of the mobile core network.Secondly, after analysis the traditional handover algorithms of WCDMA, proposed a burthen handover algorithms, which can be better applied to complex-conditions. And proposed a power optimization algorithm after the MS handover, which can reduce the number of uplink power after handover so that the uplink tend to the expectations faster.Finally, discuss network planning and optimization method. Derived full use of CS domain remaining capacity, and approach to reduce budget by use of delay of PS domain. In regard to optimize the network, change the direction of the antenna angle to increase regional switch to improve the outage phenomenon. |
