With the rapid development of mobile communications.2G mobile communication system can not satisfy people's mobile communication networks.3G mobile communication has been gradually improved, as people need the mobile communication network. As the mainstream of the global 3G networks, WCDMA has advantages of high speed, large capacity, many types of services and so on, its potential of evolution of 3G mobile standard is better than the others. WCDMA network optimization is very necessary, which decides whether to bring advantages of WCDMA networks.In chapterⅠ, This paper first describes the history of the development of mobile communication networks, through the various aspects of performance comparison, illustrates the WCDMA 3G mobile communications in the advantaged position and justifies the need for the optimization. In chapterⅡ, for change of the signal path of propagation, this paper revises model parameters, using minimum mean square error estimation (MMSE) to modify the model parameters, and gives the relationship between the power values and the coverage of distance. In chapterⅢ. from the respiratory effects of WCDMA, the analysis discovers adjacent cell interference factor is rhe reason of affecting coverage and capacity, proposing controlling the interference power of neighboring cells to control adjacent cell interference factor.The simulation in Matlab proves the proposed the practicability of controlling adjacent cells interference factor. In chapterⅣ, in terms of the principles and channel resource allocation algorithms of handover,solving the problem of handover acrossing the cells need establish models and optimize the periodical time of signal detection, which uses the single objective constrained optimizational algorithm to compute the periodical time to find the optimal solution. For the blocking rate and dropping rate of handover, this session proposes using multi-objective constrained optimization algorithm to dynamically set the cache queue length of channel resource on the basis of the arrival rate under the various business changes over time. Using Matlab verifies the correctness of parameters and the effectiveness of optimitional measures.In chapterⅤ, the power configuration based on placing emphasis on pilot power allocation researches allocation of service power of the users, the synchronization channel power and the configuration of the paging channel power and establishes the model of capacity of users and the forward and reverse coverage links.Using multi-objective evolutionary algorithm to optimize allocation of WCDMA total transmitted power obtains a series of power values in system. According to satisfaction of customers, establishing the criteria model of pilot power and service power of the users selectes the optimal values of each power configuration, and makes a number of experiments comparing the impact on optimal values of each power configuration and not optimal values of each power configuration on the basis of performances of system. Finally, the paper summarizes all aspects of optimizing works of WCDMA.
