With the development of the modem wind equipment towards high speed andprecision,tension control technology becomes particularly important. Due to the fact thattension system can be affected by many facts and its structures are complex, as well as itsdeep coupling,nonlinearity, time-variability, and indeterminacy of its parameters. Thereare still many problems on its basic theoretics,checking and measuring technology andcontrol technology to be solved.The precision and stability of tension control can make adirect impact on the final quality and the suitability to raw membrane coiled material.For the purpose of study,the main task is to design winding tension control system tosuit the production of special membrane coiled material,establish the tension controlmathematical modle of winding device, select the suitable tension control mode forspecial application background, design a set of tension control system which makes theflexible membrane coiled material meet the industrial production criteria.Firstly, This paper introduces the hardware structure of the tension control systemand discusses the control methods of vacuum coating machine winding system. Theimportant components in the system are analyzed in detail. Mathematical model wereestablished for every components by using the MATLAB/SIMLINK. And the torquerelationship between actuators are analyzed in detail.Secondly, on the basis of Hooke’s law and the dynamic torque balance equation, thispaper detailed analysis about the film tension effect in the process of running, and thetension, speed and roll diameter influence of the unwinding device, coating drum,tension roller and rewinding device. Construction of the tension structure of the windingtension control system of vacuum coating machine. Combining the components models,this paper establishes the model of the tension system with multi input multi output.Finally, the maximum minimum ant colony algorithm is applied to the tuning of PIDparameters, and the realization method is proposed. Through the simulation analysis andthe experiment, the optimization effect is very obvious.The ways andmethods foroptimizing are very effective in practical controlling system。...
