With the rapid development of society, the research on space exploration, deepsea exploration and extreme environments are also in progress. Filament woundproducts are widely used with its advantages of high strength, corrosion resistanceand stable quality. Most of the traditional winding machine control system by upperand lower computer structure of IPC and motion controller, so it’s usually lack ofstability and low of production efficiency. This design used NUM1020CNC as corecontroller, the control performance is stable and reliable and greatly improves thewinding accuracy, the production efficiency can be greatly improved throughcompiling the processing program of different pipes.This paper analyses the winding patterns of leading and lagging based onpressure vessel as model, and apply the patterns to design of laminate thicknessdistribution. This paper combines the advantages of the Classical algorithm, Exactalgorithm and Flat algorithm to put forward a new polynomial approximationalgorithm. This new method of laminate thickness distribution can ensure accuratelinear signal layer winding and the winding repeatability between layers.The hardware of control system used NUM1020CNC as core controller of hostcomputer, the lower machine used Siemens6SE70inverter to drive servo motor.This design adopts an inverter to drive two servo motors time-sharing by furtherstudy the main control module CUVC circuit of the inverter, and design the drivingcircuit of the spindle, the circuit of encoder time-share feedback and the safety relaycircuit. The software system adopt foreground and background program design,including the operation mode of automatic, semi-automatic and manual. Compilingthe G code of fault diagnosis and display module design and different processingprograms of kinds of filament wound products. The result of practical productionshow that polynomial approximation of thickness distribution algorithm proposed inthis paper can guarantee the winding yarn neither pressure nor parting, and through the analysis of the experimental data processing that the repeat accuracy of thismachine is0.2mm, comply with the design standards and meet the productionrequirements.
