Based on our researching subject, the development of the mold assembling and disassembling training system, this paper expounds the process of the software designing and operation. The software was deeply discussed, including market demand, work content, function setting and scripting, software development, establishing model, interactive realization etc. The practical plan for this skill-centered training software was based on good research about the related software abroad, survey analysis of enterprise, teaching needs of this major.In order to have a high degree of simulation, this system design all the molds with the art mold system. The development of the system in this paper is working based on Virtools, VSL, BB module, and Flash ActionScript2.0. it can realize the interactivity of the virtual system, complete the manufacture of six main modules(operational principle, mold drawing, basic process, factory real action, disassembling dies, and assembling practice). With all these, the system can make better reacts and evaluation for the operators.Virtual reality (VR) is a interdiscipline related to computer graphics, computer simulation technology, man-machine interface, multi-media, and sensing technology. Virtual reality technology, multi-media technology and network technology are calledthe best computer technology of three great foregrounds, and they have been widely used in many fields. But it is still newly applied in mold teaching, and it can hardly meet the needs of the teaching course. So it is important to set up a highly effective teaching soft ware. The software inreduced in this paper is with plenty of practical gunctions, advanced technology, and vivid display effects. It is easy to operate, stable and efficient.This system also requires lower levels of manual administration. It has certain autonomous expansion space and open network function, which can meet the facts we have in both schools and enterprises. This software extends the scope of application of virtual reality technology and realizes the strengths complement of helpful softwares. And it also works as a guide to the development of other Mechanical virtual assembly software.
