In recent years, with the rapid development of global economy the environmentalpollution is increasingly serious. Countries have introduced policies accordingly in order tosolve the problem of pollution and improve the environment. To the heating problems faced inmodern society, the most evident way of energy saving and environmental protection is thecentral heating system operation. The central heating system in our country is developing veryrapidly, for most of northern area where need winter heating the cogeneration is realized, butdue to technical limitations, in such aspects as management, monitoring and regulating it is oflow automation degree. It makes the heating costs high. The heating quality is low, causing abig coal resource usage, and low use efficiency, huge power consumption and high heat loss.Around the world in the pursuit of low carbon life, aiming at the problems of heating system,we need to improve our existing heating system through the advanced science and technologysuch as the thorough control system, the reasonable distribution of heat and timely accidenttreatment measures. The core of the central heating system is heat exchange station, so theheat exchange station control system research and optimization has important significanceand practical value. The advanced technology and adjusting device can be adopted to help thesystem heating over time and regional.With the research background of heating system in tianjin binhai new area, thedevelopment of the heating system and its control strategy at home and abroad are introducedin detail, and according to the concrete practice in our country, analyses the working principleof heat transfer station and the role of temperature, pressure, flow rate in the routine controlsystem. From the perspective of save energy and improve the level of automationmanagement, this paper discusses the theory of remote measurement and control system ofheat exchange station, and designed a special intelligent controller with ARM as the core.Paper summarizes the overall structure of the remote measurement and control system forheating network, introduces the hardware and software design of the special controller.The remote measurement and control system is composed of center control station andlocal controller, through GPRS wireless communication to complete the remote dataexchanging, realize the heat exchange station unattended. Center control station is to monitorthe whole heating system and each heat exchanger station. The local controller is to achieveautomatic control of a single heat exchange station. In this article, the remote terminalunit(RTU) is used as the local controller.It is a type of special controller based on LM3S1061single-chip microcomputer. In the process the RTU is to finish the data acquisition and localcontrol.At present, tianjin binhai heating system has finished debugging. Such function asReal-time monitoring, data processing, analysis, report printing can be done in the central dispatching room. Practice has proved that the system runs stably, achieves the design heatingdemand.
