With the development of central heating and the continuous extend of heating network,the heat exchange station plays a more and more important role in heating medium’s conversion and transmission as one of important parts of heating network. It has become a significant subject research on how to manage the station effectively and reasonably in order to improve the automation level and run under the circumstance of safe, steady, low energy consumption and environmental friendly.Urban central heating develops rapidly although started lately in China and the heating network coverage area is increasing year by year, at the same time some problems also gradually exposed in the process of heating. Firstly, most of the heat exchange stations are still manually operated by experience and the automation degree is not high which can’t meet the comfortable heating. Secondly, the operation management level is not effectively enough and the station runs in a mode with big flow and small temperature difference which results in unbalanced heat for heat users and it’s difficult to meet the dynamic heating need. Thirdly, due to the dispersion of the stations, it has become more and more difficult to monitor the stations. All the problems above not only reduce the heating quality and comfort, but also increases the energy consumption and cost.Based on the heating pattern and operation problems in our country, the thesis firstly analyses the technological process and control principle of heat exchange station and chooses a station in university in Dalian as the research object. And it makes major research from two aspects of heat exchange station respectively, the automatic control and remote monitoring. Then, the intelligent tri-state Bang-Bang control algorithm is proposed and distributed variable frequency pump is used as the operator aimed at temperature control. Next, in order to keep pace with the continuous extend heating network and raise the energy saving, the system is designed of which has the function of remote monitor based on GPRS wireless communication, furthermore, to make energy saving measures by analyzing heating data.The engineering experimental data has been proved that the intelligent controller for heat exchange station has achieved the temperature control, the circulating pump control, the filling water control and the pressure depression control which improved the automatic control level and realized unattended station. Adopting the improved intelligent tri-state Bang-Bang algorithm, the station system has been improved by 50% in the aspect of control precision. The heating network system with remote monitor not only monitor the real-time data online monitoring and remote control but has a function for data storage, analysis, fault diagnosis and alarm which improves the safety, steady and economy of the system. The manager can grab the information anytime and anywhere by Web publication and implement measures for heating energy saving by analyzing and formulating heat information which improves the level of operation and management of the heat exchange station.
