With the webpage technology continues to mature, the electronic commerce is alsogradually arising. The emergence and develop of electronic commerce have made people’sdaily life and work change tremendously.However, the traditional e-commerce platform inthe shopping experience is not intuitive, customers can only see the webpage in businessfixed text presentation and commodity still pictures, this information is verylimited.Customers can not observe the items according to their requirements from thewanted angle,and sometimes that information can not comprehensively display a commodity,not only lack of interaction of the customer and the goods, and also limits the development ofelectronic commerce on the other hand.This paper realizes a virtual shopping system. This system is under the Windowsenvironment, using VRML language to write, establishing model and script processing,at thesame time,part of the complex models are imported3DSMAX model and HTML pagemessage processing.The tool uses VrmlPad Editor while system function modules includeslanding module, roaming module, product information module, the display card module,billboard module, audio playback module. The system design achieves a novel way toshop,which applying virtual reality technology into the field of electronic commerce andbuild a realistic scene of virtual shopping mall. Customers under this virtual environment feeloverwhelmed, just like entering a real shopping mall where people are free to choose theirfavorite products and360-degree observe goods. This brings us an intuitive, comprehensiveshopping experience.
