Food security determines the country’s social stability and economic development, andscientific grain is an important part of food security. In the process of grain storage, whengrain silos and external environmental parameters are more than the normal indicators offood, fever, mildew and insects become may occur, while conventional mechanicalventilation often appears ventilation conditions is difficult to determine, control and otherissues. through research and analysis of Grain detection technology at home and abroad andmechanical ventilation technology, combining WSN technology and embedded technology,this paper presents a design of granary automatic monitoring system based on WSN, itrealized of real-time granary monitoring, ventilation equipment control and abnormal alarmfunctions.The system consists of granary monitoring software, wireless transmission systems,control systems, and SMS alarm module. The system designs a control system usingATmega8L, which collects the food situation and environmental parameters through avariety of sensor devices, controls ventilation equipment; it designs wireless nodes andaggregation nodes using ATmega128L and CC1101wireless chip, two nodes built a WSNnetworks, the WSN network achieves the two-way data transmission between Centralmonitoring center and control system using multi-hop; using VC designed granarymonitoring software, The software can collect data on a graphical display and storage, andcontrol ventilation equipment according to the ventilation conditions; Meanwhile,CWT5010module implements grain abnormal alarm function. This paper first introducesthe WSN and embedded technology knowledge, and then introduces the overall systemdesign and various parts of the specific hardware and software design, according to thecharacteristics, the system designs specific communication protocols, and finally tests thesystem performance and stability.the system of This design can meet actual needs, and easily to be expanded, it can notonly be used in granary monitoring, but also in the fields of smart home and home security,at the sane time, the system has a good application prospect and some practical value.
