Grain issues is a crucial part of people's livelihood,and government administration making grain depot construction plays an important role in grain storage management.Nowadays,in the pursue of efficiency and quality,grain storage arrangement is becoming the basis of the operation efficiency and development of local storage companies.As grain output increased and National reserved grain purchasing policy was carried out,engineers are trying to enlarge and intelligentize the granary.Therefore,we must develop an Intelligent Management-Control system to meet the needs.Although the majority of national granaries have been equipped with intellectual measuring,controlling,and management systems,since the grain depot reconstruction policy was carried out by State Administration of Grain in 2012,there are still many grain depots lacking in correspondence with others for exchanging measurement and service infonnation,causing Information silo.Meanwhile,we are faced with the fatal shortcomings.First,it is difficult to oversee the grain condition because the data about grain conditions isn't comprehensive.Second,the Ventilation,air conditioning,and temperature control systems are not intellectual enough so that manual control is indispensible in most conditions.Third,the task arranging procedure is not standardized leading to low efficiency.Fourth,the present system function is not so perfect that we have to add more extensions to the system,optimize the interface and improve the system amiability.In order to overcome these limitations,we here provide a new intellectual grain monitoring system,based on the existing monitoring and control system of grain storage,that integrates measurement,control and management.This systems accomplish the tasks that update the grain depot information system function and optimize the system design.The main research contents are as follows:(1)According to the integrating Management-Control System principles,we designed an intelligent Management-Control Integration System of grain depot,which achieves integrated,modular and hierarchical management and control functions of grain storage.(2)By using RFID(Radio Frequency Identification)technology,we use smart card to optimize process management.By introducing the RFID technology,we can enhance the process managing efficiency and reduce the human operation errors.(3)We added quantity,energy consumption and pest detection into the proposed system.What's more,we put forward a new method of grain condition recognition based on the multi-parameter detection,and optimize the general granary control model and the rules.We also succeeded in making the system we designed work based on expert knowledge,which greatly enhanced the intelligence level of system.(4)After we analyze the application scenarios and object where we were to apply the system,in order to enable the system to present information properly,manage efficiently and be easily operated,we optimized the intelligent grain depot management system by improving the interface and adding more functions,based on basic theory of human factors engineering.In this paper,we provide a comprehensive test result of system function and performance in the test environment,and identified the system capability in a National grain depot.The results have shown that the system we designed was highly appreciated by users,because its good performance on grain condition control and task manage.It also enhanced the grain manage efficiency,kept the grain quality and saved management cost.
