Food is directly related to national economic development and social stability at any time, and our country has a large population, as one of the most important part in material bases,food plays a pivotal role. In order to guarantee the livelihood of the citizen, the government will reserve a certain amount of grain, but the loss of storage every year can not be ignored. At early time, we mainly reduce the loss from the construction of barn, but now, our research direction is creating a scientific and intelligent system to keep the barn safe.In view of the existing defects of the barn measurement and control system, our team has preliminary designed an intelligent system based on the cloud server, we can check the barn from Internet any where, the cloud server can provide a variety of clients’ login at the same time, which can realize the function of multi-platform measurement and control. But some time later, it has exposed several problems, such as the chaos of user information, and the function is not enough, what’s more, it can’t alarm the abnormal condition previously. In order to solve these deficiencies this thesis do the following improvement.(1) In consideration of the clients form different platforms, this thesis designed a user configuration tool based on the cloud server. The configuration tool uses the ASP.NET technology, and chooses the three-tier architecture (presentation layer, business logic layer and data layer) which is on popular, the database is SQL Server2005. This configuration tool can manage configuration information of the whole measurement and control system centrally, the configuration tool including the management of user information, warehouse information, etc. And unified the data in the cloud server, which can easily manage and use, and the information is easy to modify.(2) To expand the function of the grain measurement and control system, this thesis mainly increases the function on Web client. The design is mainly based on front-end technology and background method, which guarantees the grain situation data transmission between server and browser in time. All the data is stored in the cloud. In order to make sure the transmission between the Web server and the cloud server efficiently and accurately, all the data are defined by protocol buffer message format. In order to make the system more humanization, this thesis designed the timing detection and automatic ventilation function.(3) In view of the defect of grain situation analysis on the system, this thesis puts the genetic algorithm into the grain situation early warning mechanism. This method selects the grain temperature equally spaced time dynamically, and forecasts the grain situation through a certain way of simulate prediction curve based on the genetic algorithm, the temperature value work out by curve can forecast grain situation. According to the forecast and setting the alarm value in advance can achieve the goal of grain situation early warning.The measurement and control system for grain situation plays well in testing operation. After putting into market, the configuration tool and Web client received the affirmation from the users. The early warning mechanism also meets the standard in the simulation, which proves it’s feasibility.
