As high energy consumption enterprises,Steel plants are faced with theproblem of energy saving. The energy management system (EMS) dependson some advanced techniques and ideas such as modem automatization andinformation technology, attemper techniques,unmanned technology andmanagement measures based on impersonality information.It is helpful toreduce energy consumption and improve the level of energy management.In this thesis,the structural, function and design principles of EMS arestudied based on the example of a steel enterprise. The data collection andenergy equipment monitoring/controlling system are designed and improvedthe data collection to build the proper EMS of the steel enterprise.The problems exited in construction and application of the system arediscussed,and the solutions to overcome them and improve the system areprovided,such as the integration the control system of steel-making aircompaction plant by OPC (OLE for Process Control) communication,and theoptimization of the network structure and so on.At last,the benefit by usingEMS is analyzed and application way in the future of EMS is proposed. The EMS is in good condition,works well,and is reliable since it run.Itarrives what the system needed,provides good environment for optimizingmanagement,attemper and real time supervision of energy system,and isvery practical and economical....
