The competition of the modern company is not only concerned with the technology or people, but also included the raw material, and the one who can dominant the market will win out. As the goverment puts more and more effort on reducing the energy cost and the polution, energy has become the main reason that bounds the development of a company. It is also necessary to set up a complete system of energy measurement collect system. The original data collection method was the record paper in Tonghua steel company, and the scheduling was only counted on serveral pressure meter and was committed by the phone. The information was not complete and far from being the latest. Each unit counted their own energy without specific rules, and also some other problems like these. This problem has severly affect the global energy balance of the company. Lots of the energy can only be collected by traditional experiment measures, and the rest was dumped wastedly. In no way can this situation meet the requirement of the reducing energy and polution policy of the company. Under such circumstances, the energy measurement collection managing system of Tonghua steel company has been set up.The energy measurement collection managing system of Tonghua steel company is built on the basis of the energy production and consumption of the company. This system monitors the energy system real-timely, and provides the guildline of production to the scheduling system. The system is a large-scale integration system based on the computer network technology. The system will make significant prompting effect on many aspects such as scheduling system, energy management paperless,real-time online data,fault analysis, and increasing the working efficiency, decreasing the consumption of steel and the whole energy managing level.The background of this paper is to manage the energy of Tonghua steel company, overall designed the function of the energy measurement collection managing system. Planned and designed the network architecture, the whole network was transferd by independent laying of fiber optic cable, backbone network gigabit, fast to the user, backbone based acquisition master, acquisition master has acquisition sub-stations, make the main data as the dynamic forces of the whole plant consumption back to the server through the backbone network, formed the report after the server processing, client access through the web, so the management and scheduling system can call to view, achieve data sharing. Designed the measurement devices, inorder to solve the problems of paperless recorder, designed and implemented a data compensation function, and designed the corresponding interface. In terms of software functionality, based on CitectSCADA software, designd and implemented the management functions, designd the database, and designd some function screens. The effect of field application shows that, by using this system, end the backward command of Tonghua steel company, also reduce the error of manual management, realized the centralized management of data, meet the requirements of the line real-time, achieve the energy management process paperless, raise labor productivity, and analysis of accident reliance with data.
