Economic transition of China began from implementing thefamily-contract responsibility system in1982,abolishing the people’scommune system.Beginning from the reform and opening up.over thepast30years,agriculture has nurtured industry,rural has raised city.In thenext thirty years,we are facing the important period of industry refeedingagriculture,city leading the country.During the significant period ofeconomic transition of China,the life style of farmers,the prospect ofagriculture development,and the public opinion of the country,all ofwhich worth our fine research.By content analysis and word frequency analysis of <Farmer’sDaily> in recent decade,we try to dicuss the public opinion of ruralcommunity.After pilot study of the paper,my study classify differrenttopics of covers.And according to quantity of this8topics,my studychoose the top three issues, and they’re Economic,Society andTechnology.On this basic,my study do the word frequency analysis to thesample covers of three topics,counting the keywords of report content and Then the top two keywords of three topics will be as six importantvariables of public opinion.This thesis chooses Yangtze River Delta ruralto do the statistics of farmers’career choice this ten years byquestionnaire survey and research the influence of rural public opinoon toresidents’ career choice of rural community.Finally,my study has found,public opinion has simulation functionsthrough media events,and Public opinion play a mediating role on thebasis of social norms.And the mass media should accord to the agenda ofthe party and the state by improving the guide of public opinion,and servethe production and living of the people by strengthen the efforts of publicopinion.
