The objective of engineering education is meeting the students becoming successfulengineers’needs with specialized technical, social consciousness, and the spirit of innovation.Compared to the traditional areas, the development of computer field is relativelyever-changing, for increasing complex technology and sustainable development, computerengineering education teaching also encounter an unprecedented challenge, if continue tofollow the past traditional theoretical education model, that will inevitably lead to a decline instudent computer applying ability, and plus the growing demand for computer applicationtalents from enterprise, we must need to improve the quality of engineering education andconnotations.CDIO(Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate) engineering education reform was born fortraining students to become comprehensive engineers, so that students understand how toconceive, design, implement, operate the high value added engineering product, process andsystem in a modern team. The main CDIO teaching mode is that it creates a learningtechnology base and the actual ability to deepen the learning experience, the use of moderneducation method, innovative teaching method and new learning environment to improvestudents’ overall ability, and provide help to understand abstract thinking and memory theorypractical application opportunities and ways to master a solid foundation of knowledge, alsoto stimulate the students’ ability and learning in personal and interpersonal.This paper is based on the CDIO concept of engineering education, after revise theteaching program, curriculum teaching mode and teaching evaluation, design and develop thecomputer engineering education platform for the CDIO teaching reform. The featuresfunction shows the CDIO syllabus, curriculum system, establish the opening learningresource, support the uploading and downloading, build the CDIO project collaborative learning tools, learning groups, BBS forums, live chat, mail, etc.. Combined the CMMsoftware maturity (Captivity Maturity Model) to complete the CDIO capacity assessment, usethe questionnaires, platform tracking record assessment, online testing, and other forms ofdiagnostic evaluation. Through school-enterprise cooperation shows the exchanges betweenenterprises and schools to enable students to obtain the CDIO experimental environment. Thesystem adopts Struts MVC three-tier framework, use the JSP, Java Script, MySql, andgraphical interface technology, and implements the stable performance, user friendly teachingplatform.
