In the process of designing aircraft, the flight test is a very importantprocedure. The real time recording of various status signals plays an important rolein rating and improving aircraft’s performance during the flight test. At the sametime, the bad testing environment and the need of satisfying various requirementsboth greatly challenge the designing of the aircraft’s high-speed data storage.This paper firstly analyzes the current state of the high-speed data storage, andproposes the design scheme combining with the requirements of this task. Thehardware technical keys and realization methods are described in detail.By using3pieces of DS90CF388VJD, which is high speed LVDS receiver, thisinstrument achives the receipt of3channel waves, and the transmission rate is2.88Gb/s per channel. The control logic of SDRAM is designed as standard FIFOinterface improving the usability and portability. A novel method that refresh theSDRAM before writing/reading operation is proposed to eliminate the lost of datacaused by the conflict between the writing/reading and reflashing operation.Large-capacity, non-volatile high-speed CF card is used as storage medium torecord3channels data and1channel telemetry data, and to meet the requirementthat data is not lost when power off. The total capacity is49GB. By changing theCF Card, the total capacity can be512GB. After experiment, the4channels data istransferred to host computer via high speed USB2.0interface for data processingand analyzing. The speed of uploading is16MB/s. Finally, the technical indicatorsof the high-speed data storage are tested, and the result shows that the indicatorsmeet the mission requirements.This high-speed data storage is able to adapt to a variety of harsh and complexwork environment with good expansibility. The expanding of capacity and speedcan be achieved by replace CF card without changing the existing circuit. Thedevice is used in aircraft’s flight experiment, and the result shows that the devicehas excellent performance, works reliably, and meets mission requirements.
