The information management system in most companies or organizations aredesigned based on their own demands and can be used exclusively in their own enterprises,which weights against the flow of information. Let alone the huge amount of time and costspent on program development and maintenance. Under the trend of big data and cloudcomputing, the drawbacks of this limited information management system are becomingprominent. People need to make an important breakthrough in designing informationmanagement system to adapt this tendency. In this thesis, a new designing method onpersonal information management system is presented based on cloud computing. Bytaking the advantages of cloud computing, together with the technology of databasesynchronization and network information fetch, the problem of information closure isaddressed, which leads to the acceleration of information exchanging.In this thesis, the developing situation of management information system, of cloudcomputing, of heterogeneous database synchronization and unstructured data acquisitionand integration techniques is first introduced. The detailed analyses of every single step indesigning personal information management system are provided correspondingly,including the implementations of cloud platform in system, database synchronization andinformation fetch. Then, the system structure is constructed based upon the technology ofExtJS+Struts2on J2EE platform, and the database and some key class which can satisfythe requirements of system are designed. Meanwhile, the data collection method used ininformation fetch and the regular weighted method as well as the classification algorithmsused in data filtering are designed. With these methods the conversion of unstructured datafrom network into required structured data can be guaranteed. Finally, an elaboratedescription is presented regarding to the realization of Google-cloud-platform-basedpersonal information management system.
