Modern means of communication make the breadth frequency and convenience of interpersonal communication greatly developed. People of different data stored on computer, mobile phone and so many other different devices need to identify the data on these devices, which require data synchronization.In order to achieve data synchronization and information exchange between different platforms, devices and networks, this article proposals a solution based on SyncML Data Synchronization Protocol.Personal Information Management system uses a certain means to create, backup and protect personal information. Users can identify the informations (address book, calendar, notepad, etc.)between mobile devices and computers,networks through wireless or wired way. This article designed and implemented the solution for Personal Information Management system, realized the mobile backup and management of personal information. For the problem in the SyncML security design, This article made corresponding perfection and improvement,made the communication more secure and reliable. Through test, this solution realized data synchronization and information exchange between different platforms, devices and networks, implemented the "end to end" data encryption and comprehensive rights management system, achieved the easy access for different operators,devices and more new services, supported the interoperability between different manufacturers, operating systems and services access modes.This article describes the basis protocol of personal information management system-SyncML protocol.Then described the design and implementation of the personal information management systems, and designed a new security model, which makes the protocol more safe and reliable.
