With the development of global informationization, automation managementsystem is gradually formed, having attracted the attention of each industry to theinformation to some extent. Especially for the ship maintenance management in theshipping industry, most of the shipping management companies have implementedmaintenance management system, but they can’t carry it out continually because ofvarious reasons such as unique system without the universality, which resulted inserious duplication of development and time-consuming process.Based on the common characteristics of ship maintenance management, the firststep to solve this problem is to establish the standard data of ship maintenancemanagement general model, which is the most important step to build a complete setof management platform. This platform design contains ship maintenancemanagement system (CWBT), the planned maintenance system (PMS) and variousstandard files Maritime Bureau and Classification Society promulgated. The datamodel includes organization, user, ships, equipment, maintenance plan and materialand spare parts and other information, which will make the shipping industrymanagement more scientific and reasonable.To solve the problem of effective call and sharing about its massive data, thispaper refined the ship management data element framework and set up the codingsystem based on the concept of the data element. In addition, the paper made severalkey elements of the ship management clearly expressed, such as the relationship ofmanagement objects, object properties and object description, its basic characteristicsand its basic properties. The paper adopted reference data modeling method to divideship management function module, analyzed the characteristics of its internal dataflow, improved data flow of the various special cases, and established every modelrespectively such as standard user meta mode, the standard maintenance model,standard spare parts material model, standard log meta-model and model basic codingmodel. Combined with actual situation, the paper analyzed the data flow of eachfunction module in the standardized data model. The paper established the U/C matrix (process and data matrix) of ship management platform, and validated datacompleteness and consistency and non-verbosity. Moreover, the big platform isdivided into three sub modules by U matrix, C matrix and its adjacent matrix throughthe calculation of MATLAB software.In the process of basic data initialization design, basic data initialization is thebiggest obstacle to promote the information system. To solve the problem, the paperrefined data bulk import to the base table, made the detailed design for data import infive tables of the organization, personnel information, shipping information,equipment static information and equipment maintenance plan, and wrote the dataverification code.The research results of this paper can provide a method for rapid data modelconstruction of management information system, and lay the data foundation for shipmaintenance management standard.
