Standard of metadata have been the indispensable component of information technology standardization, the premise of information exchange, the basic of building based on the stability data model. Metadata theory has been not only achieving standardization of the data itself, but also the scientific methodology of modeling.At present, the enterprise data have been some common shortages. It can be simply summarized as the following aspects: the attribute, type, domain conflicting and the data model constructing unreasonable among multi-disciplinary data model. For these reasons,different professional data achieve sharing difficult. Therefore, in this case, how to make use of metadata theory and method with the actual requirement to build a scientific, rational, stable data model of multidisciplinary shared have been the urgently task of many enterprises need to be resolve.In this paper we mainly research the method of constructing the complex relationship between the data elements. On the basis of this, a kernel element model is proposed , it's ' data element concept'-'basal data element '- 'application data element' and association, and it support data element forming. We also define the arithmetic to build metadata. Eventually, through extracting the entity and the transverse vertical relation of them, starting from metadata of modeling using, we propose a different approach with the traditional modeling of idea -Based on the analysis of the data elements of the object-oriented modeling method. This kind of idea and method avoid the traditional approach starting only from the object, but, starting from the properties of all kinds of objects implement unified cluster Analysis to the same properties of various objects. So the properties of these various objects are more integrated standardization.Through the multi-dimensional clustering analysis of data element method on the multi-disciplinary data, we consider object association from picture of the whole, construct of the united mesh view, and implement the multi-disciplinary object and its attributes unified.This method is applied to the area of exploration and development of oil fields, the core data model has been constructed based on application requirements. The model has been applied to the project of the earth sciences and drilling information platform and the development and production information platform.
