With the development of industrial control technology and networkcommunication technology, the degree of automatic production is higher and higher.The intelligent control module is widely used in industrial production, these modulesprovide plenty of real time data information from production field. Multi-levelintegrated from hardware equipment to the PC monitoring system make real time andaccurate data information interaction between layers more and more important.Demand of information sharing between the various levels has become more andmore urgent. People put forward higher requirements on the real-time monitoringsystem expansibility and portability function. However, the equipment used in theactual industrial production generally use different communication protocols andcommunication interfaces, there is lack of uniform standard, it is difficult to ensurethat data exchange between the various devices and control modules, data acquisitionalso have many problems.This paper studies the application of OPC technology in monitoring system.Designed a Wood-Plastic equipment network monitoring system based on OPC,realized the real-time monitoring of multiple sets of WPC production equipment. Byusing OPC technology, providing a unified interface standard, combined withEthernet technology will be able to achieve the combination of monitoring system toensure the real-time data transmission. This paper is through the research tounderstand these practical information, design and implements a Wood-Plasticequipment network monitoring system based on OPC.Firstly, according to the actual situation of WPC profile production process,analyze the influence factors of production process, then determine the basicfunctions of network monitoring system, through a comparative analysis to determinethe basic framework of network monitoring system. Study the OPC technology,Analyze the OPC data access specification and three different kinds of OPC dataaccess method, and determined by comparing the data access method that this systemused. Study the basic method functions used by OPC Data Access.Secondly, according to the needs, S7-1200PLC as the control module isselected in monitoring system. And according to the actual demand, select the function module be used in this system, design the circuit of these modulesis connected to external devices.Again, according to the network monitoring system functional requirements,build a development environment for the network monitoring system. And throughthe software tools, configure the PLC control module and OPC server, throughprogramming, completed the field data acquisition and storage of information. Andby monitoring system client, achieve a real-time image display of running status offield devices, and provides a variety of data query function, and drawn intocoordinate graph display, achieve the input of production report, query and printing,has achieved the production information management functions.Finally, according to the actual monitoring requirements for Wood-Plasticequipment monitoring network monitoring system, design the monitoring systembased on Ethernet network architecture, combining with Siemens configurationmanagement software, Configuration to achieve the connection of multiple PLCcontrol modules, and configure the OPC server. Then this network monitoring systemused in the actual production, Good implements the monitoring and management ofWPC production site equipment, meet the needs of the actual monitoring.
