With the development of the computer and network technology, the technology of bottom automatic producing process monitor and control has gradually become better and better. Formed varies of industry control system based on Program Logic Controller (PLC), Distributed Control System(DCS) and Fieldbus Control System (FCS). Which promote the automatic producing. But industry network became more and more major and complexity lead to much monitor and control system in the field. These systems used to monitor different product field or monitor different part of the field. The heterogeneous monitor and control system make up of different control network. So it is difficult to contact and data share. In another part, manager wants to make management gone deep into control field. Thus the realization of interlink the heterogeneous network and information network is the trend of the development and requirement of control system. According to actual requests and objective situations, combined with Ethernet technology and OPC(OLE for Process Control) technique, this paper researches the long-distance monitoring heterogeneous system on the running status of container crane.Firstly, this paper analyse the isomorphic ways to heterogeneous network and compares these ways. And put forward an idea of isomorphic way in the network and interface. To the network we use Ethernet technology. To the interface we used OPC technology.Secondly, this paper introduces the concept of Ethernet and the access way on communication. Based on Ethernet , analyses the key problems where is used on industry field, including real-time communication, power supply on the fieldbus, the essential security, the remote communication, mutually operational and so on. This paper introduces the concept of OPC technology and the characteristic. Based on OPC, analyses its role and function on the Ethernet. Combine with Ethernet control system, construe the necessary on OPC technology which to consolidate the data.Finally,according to the reqiuremnet of crane monitoring heterogeneous system,Combine with the theory knowledge and actual situation, studies and emphasis the ways on how to solve the communication problem on Ethernet. These problem contain real-time communication, communication stability, mutually operational, power supply, communication subsistence, security and remote communication. Has realized data communication based on the unification network. This paper studies the way on how to realize the communication with GE 9030 series PLC,FUJI F70S series PLC YASKAWA CP317 series PLC and ABB AC800M controller based on Ethernet and OPC technology. In the end , this paper analyse the running result and get the preferable purpose.
