Infrared focal plane technology is a high-tech integrated technology, whichstudies the detection, conversion and applications of infrared radiation and coversmultiple subjects, such as infrared materials, optics, silicon micro-machining andmicro-electronics and soon. It has great significance in national defenseconstruction and has applied in a lot of civilian areas. Infrared focal plane arrays(IRFPA) consists of detectors and readout circuits, the content of this graduationproject is unfolding around two parts, focusing on the readout circuit (ROIC)design.Uncooled infrared focal plane array as is currently the fourth generation oflow-cost infrared thermal imaging devices, are moving in the direction of thedevelopment of a two-dimensional large array. Development and testing infraredimaging devices and improved mechanical scanning technology is a combination ofelectronics, integrated software technology developments. Multifunction integrated, simple system, enhancing the subsequent signal processing technology will beincreasingly attracted research interest of researchers. Bias circuit and the drivesignal source circuit readout integrated circuit array, which leads not only greatlyreduce the number of systems, but also will improve the anti-jamming capability. In this paper, based on CATIA type readout circuit structure, designed toachieve a1×8-line column micro bolometer focal plane arrays forming a singlechip signal processing circuit Collection. Simulation and test verification show thatthe design of the circuit to complete the preset function. Paper is organized asfollows: Firstly, the basic overview of uncooled infrared focal plane; secondly, forthe calorimeter infrared microbolometer focal plane array, determine its overallarchitecture readout circuit, circuit design gives each module; again, given thenecessary signal processing backend Sigma-Delta modulator design, and the FBIconducted a systematic simulation; Finally, the readout circuit module circuitdetailed testing and gives future development of infrared readout circuit designProspect. This paper presents a infrared focal plane signal processing circuit, based onSMIC0.18μm CMOS process, using CTIA type cell readout circuit structure toachieve a bias module, the drive signal source modules, current integration module, correlated double sampling module (CDS), buffered output module, single-chipintegration, the successful production of1×8prototype readout circuit. Modulatorover-sampling rate128,20kHz bandwidth, signal to noise ratio can be achievedafter the simulation97dB. Design of third-order Δ-Σ modulator using SMIC0.18μm CMOS process to achieve, under1.8V supply voltage, power consumptionof only480μW, infrared focal plane arrays for parallel signal read research laidthe foundation.
