Water is the source of life, food is first to the people, and water is first to the food.With the increase of industrial wastewater, urban sewage emissions and pesticides,chemical fertilizers, the drinking water of many cities and villages has been polluted.According to this situation, the water plants of many cities have been studying watertreatment technology and process. In recent years, some water purification technologieshave been developed, which include absorption, oxidation, biological method, membranetechnique. The design and application of a management information system in the processof drinking water is developed in this dissertation, and it has important theoreticsignificance and practical application value for remote monitoring of drinking watertreatment process safety and will enhance the automation level of information management.Based on seven parameters (temperature, conductivity, flow, pressure, turbidity,dissolved oxygen and pH value) detection sensor, touch screen, AD module and DTUmodule, a measurement system of drinking water treatment process is constructed in orderto aim at drinking water treatment process in this dissertation, and the online measurementof the seven kind parameters is realized. Online measurement data of seven parameters canbe obtained based on data acquisition instrument, and a management information system isbuilt based on LabVIEW, Microsoft SQL Server and internet. The field measuring data istransmitted to host computer monitor center using wireless and network, and the remotedata transmission, data storage, data query, user management, video monitoring functionare achieved. During the program design, each program module to be made is easy to bemodified and extended by use of the method for independent modular design.The process information management system in the process of drinking watertreatment designed in this dissertation can achieve the remote transmission, centralizedmonitoring and fault alarm of field measuring data. The experimental results in real fieldshow that the system, which is provided with stable running, simple operating, strongfunction, can satisfy the actual monitoring process needs, and lay the foundation formultiple regions’drinking water treatment process information management.
