With the popularity of hi-definition video and large capacity mobile storagedevice, the requirements of bandwidth to USB become more and more high. The oldUSB1.1and USB2.0have been unable to meet the needs of the future. The USB3.0protocol is famous for its5Gbps theoretical bandwidth, and it has the advantages ofplug play and easy to extend. Therefore,it is necessary to research and develop superspeed data acquisition card.A super-speed data acquisition card was introduced in this paper, which wasbased on USB3.0interface chip CYUSB3014and Altera Max V series chip5M2210ZF256C4. The design adopted bulk transmission which is one mode inUSB3.0protocol, large numbers of data can be transferred by it. In order to improvethe effective of transmission, EZ-USB FX3adopted Slave FIFO synchronous mode.Draw hardware schematic diagram and PCB layout with the software AltiumDesigner09. With Verilog hardware description language, programm the maincontrol chip CPLD using the software Quartus ii11.0.After analyzing and doing research on the firmware frame of EZ-USB FX3,USB device description and DMA communication channel were set and GPIF IIstate machine was designed. Then device driver for downloading firmwareautomatically was installed for USB3.0devices after modifying the INF file, and PCapplication was developed for the USB3.0device based on MFC (MicrosoftFoundation Class) using the software Visual Stdio2010. The main function ofapplication programe was that it could provide the interaction interface to users. The result of test shows that the design can achieve super speed acquistition andthe design has high reliability. The speed tesed can be385MBps.
